Frederic Remington (after) (American, 1861-1909) The Sergeant, modeled 1904 Bronze 10 1/4" height Dark brown patina. Numbered "No. 84" to the underside. The back of the base reads "Copyright by Frederic Remington / Roman Bronze Works, Inc. N.Y.", and the side of the base bears a Remington signature in the casting. A posthumous casting of one of Remington's most beloved bronzes.
Very good condition. Mild rubbing to the patina at the corners of the base, tip of the nose, and edges of the hat's brim. Small scuff on the brim.
