Four antique prints with railroad subjects:
1. Plate I from "Travelling on the Liverpool and Manchester Railway, 1831," published byRaphael Tuck & Sons (London) in 1894. Color offset. Measures 9" x 23 1/2", presented behind glass in a frame that measures 16 3/4" x 31 1/4".
2. Plate III from "Travelling on the Liverpool and Manchester Railway, 1831," published by Raphael Tuck & Sons (London) in 1894. Color offset. Measures 9" x 23 1/2", presented behind glass in a frame that measures 16 3/4" x 31 1/4".
3. "Our Lightning Expresses," Manchester & Liverpool Express. Hand-colored lithograph. Measures 10" x 27", presented behind glass in a frame that measures 19 1/2" x 37".
4. "Locomotive." Hand-colored engraving. Measures 9 1/4" x 5 3/4", presented behind glass in a frame that measures 15 1/4" x 11 3/4".
The first three prints each have folds original to the sheets. The sheet for the fourth print shows some darkening from acidity. Some scattered creasing and toning across the group.
