Four hand-crafted Shaker oval bentwood pantry boxes of graduated size, made with finger lapped construction. The largest measures 5 1/2" x 13 3/8" x 9 1/4". The second largest measures 4" x 10 1/2" x 7 1/8". The third largest measures 3 3/8" x 8 3/4" x 6 1/4", and bears well-worn residual red paint, as well as some old and illegible pencil notations to the underside. The smallest measures 3" x 7 1/2" x 5".
Each of the boxes is very sturdy, with lids that each fit tightly without being tough to open. The red-painted box has a very small splinter loss to the lid rim above the finger lap, otherwise only minor signs of wear and tear from age.
