A Chinese porcelain lidded box with enamel famille verte decoration with dragons chasing the pearl of wisdom, or wish-granting pearl. An apocryphal six-character Ming dynasty Wanli reign mark in blue underglaze to the underside. Measures 3 3/4" x 6" x 6".
Very good condition, with no chips and minimal wear commensurate with age.
