An antique Chinese lacquered tea caddy, octagonal form on three paw feet, fitted inside with a lidded pewter canister. Each lacquered panel is gilt, decorated with a unique figural scene.
Measures 6 1/4" x 8" x 8".
Provenance: The estate of a Mission Hills collector. 100% of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to charity.
The pewter insert is somewhat misshapen, and it has some grime around the lid. Typical wear to the gilt decoration. Some cracking to the lacquer as photographed.
