Birger Sandzen (Swedish-American, 1871-1954) San Miguel Church, 1919 Lithograph on paper Edition of 50 19" x 15" A pencil-signed and titled image of the San Miguel Church in Santa Fe, New Mexico, notable as the oldest church structure in the continental United States (founded between 1610-1626), executed on watermarked white laid paper. Framed to archival standards in a wooden frame with an acid free mat, museum mount, and conservation glass, by the American Legacy Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri, measuring 29 5/8" x 24 1/8" in total. Not removed from the frame. The sheet shows gentle rippling, and an area of subtle discoloration near the bottom of the right margin. No notable toning.
