A revolvingbook stand of the Aesthetic movement, with rosso marble inset top, circa fourth quarter 19th century. Consistsof a turned post terminating in a tripod base with paw feet, and two tiers of revolving shelves. Each shelf is carved with a fleur-de-lis and enclosed with carved chinoiserieopenwork walls.
Measures 32 1/2" x 21".
Condition
Good condition, noting minor wear to the marble top and a little bit of general aging.
