Three octavo-sized volumes (8 1/2" x 5 1/4"), early tree calf boards, later calfskin spines with gilt lettering. An excellent 18th century example of this foundational masterpiece of classical economics.
The text block is in very good condition, with surprisingly little foxing or creasing (no folds or tears were identified). The later leather spines are in very good coindition, and the binding is fairly tight. The tree calf boards are chipped and cracking at the edges, they show a few scuffs, and the corners are bumped at the fore (the bumping has not effected the text block).
