A 2024 Kansas City Chiefs AFC Championship Ring, given to organizational staff member Dale Covey. The ring weighs 54.6 grams in total, crafted from sterling silver and 6-karat yellow gold, with a total of 106 cubic zirconias, 4 marquise cubic zirconias, 17 custom-cut created rubies, 24 princess-cut created rubies, 10 round created rubies, and 1 marquise created ruby.
The 2024 Kansas City Chiefs, led by head coach Andy Reid and QB Patrick Mahomes, followed back-to-back Super Bowl titles with their best regular season record to date: a blistering 15-2. Veteran leadership by Chiefs legends Travis Kelce and Chris Jones, combined with All-Pro turns from Trent McDuffie, Creed Humphrey, and Joe Thuney, helped the team succeed in thrilling battles all season long, with Kansas City setting a new NFL record for most consecutive victories in one-score games (17), the last of which occurred when they won the AFC Championship Game over the Buffalo Bills. Ultimately the team fell just short of their goal of completing the first Super Bowl three-peat, losing to Philadelphia in Super Bowl LIX. But with their third consecutive Super Bowl appearance, seventh consecutive AFC championship game appearance, and ninth consecutive AFC West title, the Chiefs once again flexed their dynastic credentials, the league's most impressive perennial powerhouse.
The ring top displays the Chiefs' iconic arrowhead logo created in 17 custom-cut created rubies set in yellow gold, surrounded by a field of 23 cubic zirconias bordered in yellow gold. The logo stands above a football-shaped red faceted marquise-shaped stone, around which are set 34 additional cubic zirconias. In yellow gold relief: "2024 AFC CHAMPIONS." Between "2024" and "AFC" is set a single marquise created ruby, and flanking the top side edges of the ring are four total marquise cubic zirconias, surrounded by an additional 32 cubic zirconias. Finally, the top and bottom edges of the top display are fenced with a row of 12 princess-cut created rubies, 24 in total.
The left side of the ring features the recipient's name above a relief of Arrowhead Stadium, all detailed in yellow gold. The jumbotron reads "10-0" (Kansas City's home record in 2024), and below the stadium view is a row of 10 round created rubies above a yellow gold AFC emblem. The right side of the ring reads "CHIEFS KINGDOM" in yellow gold, above a row of 9 cubic zirconias. The final score of the AFC Championship Game flanks a depiction of the Lamar Hunt Trophy, all above another row of 8 cubic zirconias, and the Chiefs "15-2" regular season record.
The ring is offered in its original Jostens lighted presentation box, measuring 2 3/4" x 8" x 4 3/4", and accompanied with a Jostens Certificate of Appraisal and Owner's Guide.
