A pair of oak club chairs from the poker room of the historic Kansas City Club. Each measures 33" x 24" x 22".
The Kansas City Club, which survived from its 1882 inception until 2015, was a gentleman's club host to notable members including Presidents Harry S. Truman and Dwight D. Eisenhower, as well as famed mobster Tom Pendergast, General Omar Bradley, and Kansas City Royals owner Ewing Kauffman. Truman is said to have donated the poker table to the Kansas City Club.
