A Victorian tea chest of exceptional quality, crafted from extinct calamander wood, with elaborate engraved brass mounts. Marked "Bramahs Patent" (London) to the interior lock. Domed form with velvet lined interior, two compartments labeled for green and black tea, and a center cut glass bowl. No monograms. Measures 7 3/4" x 13" x 6 3/4".

Condition

Very good condition, with no chips to the glass bowl and no losses to the inlay. Some tarnish to the brass fittings. No key is present.
