A limited edition 1972 wool Axminster rug or wall tapestry after Paul Klee's 1940 painting "Der Paukenspieler" ("The Drummer Boy"). Manufactured by Cosmopress (Geneva, Switzerland) in an edition of 2500 for Montgomery Ward. Measures 60" x 29".
Condition
Good condition. The underside has only the remnants of the original tag, as well as some adhesive residue staining at the top and bottom edge where the piece had been previously mounted to hang on a wall.
