A paneled English oak coffer chest with original hardware, mortise-and-tenon construction, 18th century.
Measures 28" x 50" x 21 1/2".
Provenance: Consigned as part of the Webster House collection.
Good overall condition, with some nicks and general wear commensurate with age. There is a small loss to one of the chest's bottom planks, and a wooden underside support has a partial split, jutting out slightly in a way that is visible from the rear.
