An 18" doll with bisque head on swivel neck, German or French, circa 1880s. The head, marked "DEP" to the back, features pierced ears and an open mouth with teeth, and may be attributable to Simon & Halbig. French-style wood and composition body with fully articulating shoulder, elbow, wrists, and hip joints. Later white dress.
The head is in very good condition, noting small spots around the ears. A bit of flaking to the painted finish on the wooden arms/hands.
